"Words of Choice" is seeking creative writing about women's freedom and reproductive rights for possible inclusion in 'An Evening of New Works of Words of Choice,' performed as a staged reading by actors and directed by Francesca Mantani Arkus on October 28, 7-9 p.m. in at The TACT Studio, 900 Broadway, Suite 905.
We are seeking works of 10 minutes or less.
The 10-minute works may be: scenes, monologues, short plays, sketches, short stories, poetry, spoken word, songs, letters, memoirs or elegant nonfiction. They may be: humorous, serious, eclectic, poignant, fanciful, quirky. They may be about: contraception, sex, abortion, pregnancy, adoption, activism, love, fear, rape, sexuality, gender stereotypes, the Religious Right, women's liberation or whatever spurs our dreams of reproductive freedom.
