This is an Exempt position reporting to the Director of Advocacy & Marketing.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for mobilizing people both in communities throughout
develops and carries out mobilizing strategies. Responsible for building and retaining targeted
collaborative partnerships with sister organizations and coalition partners consistent with agency
legislative and advocacy goals. Specific outreach to be focused on forming linkages with ethnically diverse
communities and the communities where PPNYC centers are located. Serves as Public Affairs liaison to
other departments, including the health centers and coordinates PPNYC's 3 Community Advisory Boards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Requires Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Requires 2-3 years of related and/or applicable experience.
The ideal candidate must have strong speaking, writing, organizational and people skills. Must be
able to work effectively in coalitions and with economically diverse communities. Must have knowledge
of and demonstrated commitment to reproductive health care issues.
