NARAL Pro-Choice New York is throwing a party in your honor as a thank you for all your hard work this election season.
Together, we secured a democratic majority in the New York senate and elected a pro-choice president. Now it’s time to party!
Come together with fellow volunteers for a night of open mic, food, games and prizes!
Please bring something to share: a food dish, song, friend or willingness to get on stage and tell your story. It’s your choice!

Free Informational Meeting for Expectant Parents
November Meeting Topic: Separating fact from fiction: what are pelvic floor problems related to pregnancy and childbirth? How can I avoid them?
What is exactly the pelvic floor? What are the causes of weak pelvic floor muscles? Will an episiotomy or an elective c/section protect my pelvic floor? What are the risks of some labor and birth practices and benefits of Kegel exercises?
In this month's meeting we will explore this question and offer resources that may help you decide what is right for you.
Our meeting will feature guest speakers, both care providers and new mothers who will share their choices and experiences.
The session is generously hosted by 14 Street Y.
DATE: Monday November 17th 2008, 6:15-8:30PM
LOCATION: 344 East 14th Street (1st Ave)

We hope to see you there, and welcome you to invite your friends, family or other expectant families who might be interested.
