432 Thursdays was born out of the idea that we couldn't find a fun but affordable party on Thursday nights. A place that people could go and chill after work with a drink, or a party they could stay at late into the night and dance. Where drinks are cheap and entry is free, but doesn't have that dive bar feel. An after work party with good music, good people, and the occasional special event.

Friends of the Birth Center is establishing the only out-of-hospital Birth, Breastfeeding, and Women's Health Center in Manhattan. Slated to open in 2008 in North Chelsea, the Center will provide full spectrum women's health care including maternity, well-woman gynecological and family planning care, all provided by midwives; social work and psychiatric consultation; breastfeeding support; childbirth education; and parenting classes in a welcoming home-like environment.
