Latino Reproductive Rights Community Forum
The Latino Reproductive Rights Project, a joint collaboration of the Hispanic Federation and the National Institute for Reproductive Health invites you, your staff, activists and community members to a community forum on Latino reproductive health disparities.
With the support of Councilwomen Melissa Mark Viverito- Manhattan, and Maria del Carmen Arroyo-Bronx, we will discuss Latina adolescent pregnancy, access to emergency contraception, and HIV/AIDS/STIs, HPV and Cervical Cancer and the work that needs to be accomplished in order to address these issues in the Latino Community.

Come out next Wednesday to meet, chat and network with other socially conscious New Yorkers. With a range of backgrounds and goals we are able to share our opinions and gain insight from each in a relaxed environment.

Seeking New Works for WORDS OF CHOICE ...
"Words of Choice" is seeking creative writing about women's freedom and reproductive rights for possible inclusion in 'An Evening of New Works of Words of Choice,' performed as a staged reading by New York actors and directed by Francesca Mantani Arkus on October 28, 7-9 p.m. in Manhattan at The TACT Studio, 900 Broadway, Suite 905.
We are seeking works of 10 minutes or less.
The 10-minute works may be: scenes, monologues, short plays, sketches, short stories, poetry, spoken word, songs, letters, memoirs or elegant nonfiction. They may be: humorous, serious, eclectic, poignant, fanciful, quirky. They may be about: contraception, sex, abortion, pregnancy, adoption, activism, love, fear, rape, sexuality, gender stereotypes, the Religious Right, women's liberation or whatever spurs our dreams of reproductive freedom.

People interested in developing new their new works with our creative team are invited to attend a Creativity Workshop by Words of Choice on October 28 from 2-5 pm at The TACT Studio, 900 Broadway, Suite 905.
